Yes. Your domain stays yours until it's pointed at your new Shopify store or transferred to Shopify as your domain registrar. We handle the DNS configuration as part of the migration, minimising any transition period and ensuring SSL is confirmed before traffic moves.
Yes. Customer records including names, emails, and billing and shipping addresses are migrated as standard. Order history is transferred in full, preserving your business records and giving customers access to their purchase history on the new store. Note that customer passwords can't be migrated.
